Kjalarnes is part of Reykjavík, it is located in a rural area which
offers numerous outdoor opportunities. Near the pool towers Mt. Esja at
900 meters above sea level. It makes for an ideal trek, and the view
from the peak over Reykjavík and the south-west is fantastic. Then
there is Kjalarnes' beautiful coastline, just full of things to
discover. Pool facilities include hot pots, a steam room, sun lamps and
an exercise room. When in Kjalarnes, you're out in nature but still in
Reykjavík.
